Monday Ceramic Classes
This class will help participants develop an understanding of creativity through ceramics by practicing hand-building. Skills such as pinching, coiling, building with slabs, and various decoration techniques will be explored. Any level of experience will fit. Infuse your Monday with something new and inspiring.

$30/person for a two hour session
In this small group setting, participants will have fun blending and mixing a variety of materials to create their own handmade papers. Materials might include, but are not limited too, tissue paper, recycled papers, paper towels, nature bits and more!
Bonus idea! Use your old homework or work papers!
These handmade papers are great as gifts and can also be used for the Handmade Leather Bound Journal Making Workshop.

SAORI Free Style Weaving
$10/hr
This offering is reserved for people who have taken a SAORI class with Chiaki O’Brien and feel capable managing the loom on their own. A wide variety of yarn and fabrics will be available. You can also bring your own supplies. Hot tea, coffee and aromatherapy is included in renting the space and loom. Feel free to bring your own food and beverage.

Make Your Own Leather Bound Journal

Participants will sow their own leather bound journal that will include a variety of papers of their choice. Choose a button closure, a leather tie, snaps, or create your own idea to complete your book!
If you took the Paper Making class you are welcome to use your handmade papers for your journal. These journals make for beautiful gift ideas for yourself or someone you care about. Additional supplies will be available for purchase if you have time to make more than one journal or want to bring the supplies home to make another one.
SAORI Weaving

SAORI Free Style Weaving with Chiaki O’Brien
There is no “beginning” or “advanced” in SAORI. We learn together as a group. SAORI is an art form and weaving style that comes from Japan. It is joyful and easy to learn. The instructor will lead you through this “freestyle” weaving process on a SAORI original floor loom. No experience necessary.
